How Long It Lasts
Each 4 oz tin provides approximately 50 applications, depending on board size and dryness. With typical care (about twice per month), one tin can last over a year.

Whenever your cutting board looks or feels dry, dull, or has lost its natural luster. It’s also time to apply when you notice liquids soaking into the wood instead of beading on the surface. Regular care keeps your board protected, beautiful, and long-lasting.

1.     Start with a clean, dry board.

2.     Apply a small amount of sealer to your board. (About ¼–1 teaspoon, depending on board size and dryness.)

3.     Massage evenly into the wood, covering all sides and edges.

4.     Let rest overnight to cure. *

5.     Buff off excess in a circular motion for a smooth, water-resistant finish.

6.     Reapply as needed to maintain protection. Twice a month is typical, but heavily used boards may need more frequent care.

* In a hurry? Buffing off shortly after application still protects your board. Overnight curing just gives the sealer more time to soak in for longer-lasting results.
